The West Dennis Garden Club
is the oldest garden club on the Cape and Islands.
Established in 1924, the club provides a common meeting ground for all interested in gardening. The club is active in improving the appearance of our community and promoting the conservation and preservation of our natural beauty and resources.
Members share an interest in gardening, designing, and maintaining their own gardens, as well as the community gardens. Monthly Meetings feature various programs, speakers, and design workshops.
Community Involvement:
Holiday decorations made for the local Dennis businesses and town buildings.

Holiday gifts for a needy Family.

Carnations donated to 'The Meals on Wheels'.

Floral arrangements to the West Dennis Library.

Plant and maintain Memorial Garden at Jericho Center.

Food Donations to the Family Pantry
Artistic Designs:
featured at monthly meetings. Horticulture meetings held throughout the year.
Scholarships:
Given each year to local school students pursuing college degrees in horticulture, environmental., agriculture studies or to related fields. Toolships are also awarded to area students, who are pursuing areas in landscaping or related fields after graduation.
New members and the public are welcome whether or not they have knowledge of gardening.
